Default tire question...

8.5"x17", front; 9.5"x18 back= my 97 wagon wheels

17x9.5 front; 18x10.5 back= the wheels im thinking of buying

can i take my tires off my wagon wheels and put them on the new wheels? or does it depend more on tire size? if so i can post that also,

and if any one woudlnt mind, check this link and see if you can figure out if the tire pressure sensors would go in these wheels or not,

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

any response apreciated in advance

If you are using stock C5 tire sizes, they are going to be a bad fit. I made the same jump and my tires were one size up over stock in the rear (285). I have had a couple people point out that they look funny. The lip of the wheel sticks out more than the tire. So, the lip is much more vulnerable to rash than it would normally be.

Your new wheels are Z06 sizes. GM recomended sizes are 265/40-17 front and 295/35-18 rear. You can easily go up 2 sizes if you want, but I would not go down from that.
