Need help - EVAP connection

Need help - EVAP connection
I am doing my head install and can't seem to disconnect the stupid EVAP line. It is a black plastic line with a grey plastic clip of some type. How the heck do you release the clip???

Number 1 is the little retainer. Reach underneath it and push/squeeze it up (in your picture) and just pull it straight off. It doesn't take much. The retainer runs around the black housing in a semi-circle, and your photo shows the two ends with the small gap between. The part you press is on the underside in your picture. Very easy once you do it. HTH
BTW, since your working on the firewall end, you may need to hold on to the black nylon fuel line with your other hand for a little support.
