Problem with dash lights
I have a 98 roadster, 6 speed. The dash lights (gauges) sometimes delay coming on when I put the headlights on (maybe 30 seconds). Didn't pay much attention since I don't drive the car much at night. Well tonight I took the car out and again the dash lights didn't come on when I put the headlights on and stayed out. The headlights work fine, however, my rear tail lights were out as well as my fog lights would not go on. Are they all connected???? Please help............ Thanks.....

Cycled the switch about 6 times and finally everything works, however, when I shut the headlights off couldn't get dash lights to work again even after another several cycles of the switch. Is there any way to clean the switch (ie blow out the contacts)? If not, does anyone know the cost to have someone repair/replace the switch?? Any other suggestions appreciated.... Thanks.....

Bought some contact cleaner/lube in a spray can at Radio Shack. Squirted some in the gap between the light switch and the stem. After cycling the switch several times it appears to have fixed the problem...... Got the idea from an old thread. Thanks guys.....
