Oil separator question
I installed a AMW oil separator and it appears to be doing the job. My question is what about the hose connecting the Valve Cover to the Throttle Body on the passenger side. Is is sucking oil vapors through that? I also changed the hose routing on the separator from the way they show it installed. The hose coming from the pcv valve now runs along the coils under the cover then back around to the catch can. I read somewhere on a LS1 forum that you want the inlet hose on the sparator to be longer so the vapors have more time to separate before entering the can.
