Getting ready to do a clutch replacement on my FRC. I know the Pilot bearing is a pain in the Azz to replace, what's the best puller to use and where do I get it... Just so I don't have to sweat and bleed over that part. Any other special tools you can think of? I'll be doing it on a lift...so that's good.
Nope, no special tools other than the alignment tool which is usually supplied with the clutch kits. It's just a cheap piece of plastic. If you are changing the slave you can be careful and use a flat head screwdriver to disconnect the hydraulic line by pushing in the collar. Master cylinder is very easily removed by removing the washer tank, grabbing it and twisting (once removed from pedal).
THanks guys for your help! I hope that this job goes ok, its a bummer driving my volvo around in the spring (should I have to if I disable my vette somehow)
