Bump, wobble, bump, wobble???
I was reciently in a wreck, and the drivers side rear tie rod was tweeked, but that was all replaced. But since then, I have a wobble when I hit a bump. I get a little added side to side action.
I do have large tires in the rear, so i expect some floating, but these tires were on before the wreck. I personally have never had the sway bars on the car, and the car drove fine, and I hooked better off the line. But since the wreck, Ive had to put on the rear sway bar, and this lowered the amount of wobble, but its still very obvious. Tomorow Im putting the front back on. BUT I dont want to just cover up the problem, I want to fix it, and it didnt use to do this.
Could this be the cause of a blown shock? Or does it sound more serious? I plan on getting a new alighnment since the place that did it, the steering wheel is now off, and thats a big pet pieve. It drives straight, but the wheel is to the left(wasnt like this before they worked on it)
Also, if it is a shock, for drag racing purposes, what shock would you recommend? I see they sell bilstiens for like 79$ for a coupe and 89$ for a Z06, but they have a heavy duty and a sport ride. Which one is better? They are listed at the same price.
