So i replaced the rotors with the ones i received from the vendor running the special. I don't remeber the name of the vendor, but it was the zinc coated slotted and crossdrilled rotors with pads for like $260.
Anyway, everything went without a problem (except buying a 21MM socket which for some reason i couldn't find). However i hear what sounds like the pads rubbing against the rotors when i took it for a test drive. I can hear it when i drive along a fence, pass a parked car, etc...anything to reflect a sound back. Anything it could be? I didn't replace my pads because i only have 10k on the car and my original factory pads are fine. Thanks!

Ya, no kidding. And of course when i sent my gf to the hardware store to get me the 21MM socket they didn't even have it in 1/2'' drive only 3/8'' so i had to break out the old guns
Mine did the same thing until the pads and rotors where each bedded in.
Thanks. After driving around for about 40 miles yesterday i also noticed that my pads might be slightly warped (I have no idea how due to the fact i only have like 11k on the car and it was never driven in rain so no puddles, etc...and im not hard on it).
You can see were the pads are not hitting on the rotors and my neighbor said it will probably take a few hundred miles to wear them down evenly due to the fact they might have been unevenly warn down. We'll see.

That 21mm socket works alot better on the end of an air or electric impact wrench. I turned the front wheels to the side to get a better angle on the bracket bolts, but also still had room for the rears too.
But I hand tightened and torqued them by hand. Don't use an impact putting things back on.
You'd think it'd be all metric on the car but the 13/16 wrench fit better than the 21mm wrench. Didn't have a 21mm socket so I used a 13/16. Impact gun with a swivel works great. Couldn't get the torque wrench in there so I tightened it down with a breaker bar.
