My 98 is stock and runs well with no issues. I am thinking of adding a Vortex or K&N intake at Carlisle next week. I have been reading that the 98 cars run rich and the intake will put in more air. This will lean out my 98, make it run better. Is this right or wrong? Thanks, Skip
I have a '98 and added a MTI Ram Air. I could tell an immediate difference. Lowered my ET in the 1/4 by .35sec. It is louder than before, but at WOT. It sounds stronger.
skip89.......Been running a Vortex for over a year. No problemo. If your C5 is stock and you plan on doing mods, do them in this order:
1) Vortex
2) Exhaust (x-pipe, optional)
3) TTS POWERLOADER!!!!!
4) Pull up the tirerack.com and order a new set of rear Goodyears - your gonna need 'um!!
