Remove outside tailight and reach thru to remove. put old fastners on new markers and carefully cut new threads. much easier install when the threads are precut. take your time. Don't over tighten markers or tailights ,just plastic and can be damaged. Good luck.

Thanks for the quick reply!! Mucho appreciated! Read on some other Forum, where someone pointed out, removing the rear fender linings, and goin that route? The way you described sounds easy enough for me
I will do that as I am replacing the stock lamps for the Euro Taillight assy.
Thanks!

Not sure about the Hardtop / Z06 antenna mount, but on the Roadster with the Power Antenna you can access the Left side through the taillight assembly, but the antenna is in the way on the Right side, and the liner route is the ONLY way to go :U

Zeeman.....Did this same mod to my '00 Hardtop. Remove L & R outer taillights and reach thru. Be extremely careful when putting the new nuts on. You can break the plastic post in a heart beat. Going to do the same in a couple of weeks to my '01.
