I have 400RWHP (LS1) with the X2, LS6 manifold, LT's, Ported TB, Stinger + tune, stock heads. The X2 is about as big as I'd go, depending on what you use the car for. It is not the stop-n-go driver it used to be, for sure. Not good in parking lots either.

Now, the tires break loose at 5K....

Depending on what you do with the heads, probably around 420 at the wheels I'm guessing.

does adding a cam really efect the longevity of the engine?

i was also planning to beef up the stock heads with:
Dual springs
titanium retainers
valve seal kit
stock rockers.
Hardened spring seats
hardened pushrods

This is a great cam and with stock heads you should be at 420rwhp all day one with a good tune and if you put on some KILLER aftermarket heads like AFR 205s figure around 440 to 450 rwhp, as long as you have the supporting bolt ons and a proper tune!

Go for it, great CAM!
