i have a '99 frc, and apparently someone sold me a halltech stinger for an '01-04. the '99 has a smaller maf and what i think is a air temp sensor in the stock air bridge. i can make the smaller maf work, but i dont want to drill a hole fort he senseor if i dont have too. it fits in the hole in the warhead filter where the air hose normally resides.
can i leave the air hose hanging and put the sensor in the hole? i will be removing the pump and hoses later, but im waiting to finish the exhaust be fore i tune it.
also, will i need to change the program to run the larger maf, or just the plug?
im working on it now, so please fill me in ...thanks- jay
You can put a small filter on the end of the A.I.R. tube, just so you don't damage the pump. To completly remove the system you'll have to edit the PCM.
