OK, you would think this would be simple but I'm confused???
My low oil level light is on and sure enough I checked it and it was low so I put oil in, DUH !!!
Now the problem is why with the stick reading that there is plenty of oil was is the light still on when I start the car as well intermitently driving down the road but not doing any hard acceleration.
Has this happened to anybody else, thanks for any help in advance.
Bob
Thanks for the info, maybe this is a dumb question but what is GMPP?
If that's the factory warranty mine has long since passed and do you happen to know what this part costs and where is it located on the vehicle?
Thanks again for the info, Bob

If you don't have the extended warranty or GMPP try doing a google search for a step by step. Its not to hard to do a sensor swap. Not sure how much it costs.
