Congrats on you TT mine gets back on Mom/I should pull about 645-655 cant find my pre-cats and J.L was nice enough to send me some rectangular shaped plummbing updates, which allow more air to enter along with a 30+ hp boost. When my warranty is up my boost will be too around 18Lbs. and maybe some juice to cool off the charge and electronicley adj. so when I travel I can turn it down to 4-5 Lbs.
But fill it with the 104 crank the boost to1000 crank hp and wait for bodily fluids to spill.
Did you tub?
What wheel/tire combo?
What tire?
Are you lowered?
what braking system?
Z06 top end?
Any suspension mods?
Have you had a 200 mph run yet?
And which mode do you drive in?Competitive etc.
What year and model did you have done?Good luck its gotten away from me Im no race driver, and most of all GOOD LUCK.
PS for the next month if you want to compare notes mail me at
DSMILOVIC@MSN.COM hope to here from you.Peace

Great numbers Mike.I am still impressed with your 131mph in the 1/4 mile on stock tires. You had to be spinning big time and short shifting.

Ran some numbers on your car and this is what I came up with.743hp -15%=631rwh.With a 3400lb car with driver your MPH in the 1/4 would be 140.94.(With Traction) This shows that you had a tough time getting that animal down the track.

Still have not taken mine to the track yet.Larger tires and wheels will help.My 335s are mounted to 12in wheels.Fiske sent 12.5 at first and they did not work with the Penske shocks. They were hitting the shock brackets.

Have fun and be carefull.. :D :D

Yes, mine has the mini-tub done. I am trying to fit 18x10", 285/30's up front. 18x13" 335's in the back. I know 12's will fit without a problem, but I am trying to see if I can play with the suspension down travel to fit the 13's. The lucky part is, Fikse is local to me. :yesnod: Jim is a superb person to deal with. I will be going with the FM/5. Currently, there is only one tire that comes in that size (not counting R-compound, slicks, etc). It's the Michelin pilot sports.

Mine is not lowered at all because I drive it everyday. :D I'm going with the Brembo brakes (front and rear). As soon as I have everything on, I will be posting some photos. No Z06 topend for me, only the Z06 intake. :(

Suspension will be very similar to the yellow TT that is in the current issue of Car & Driver. 200mph run? I'm not  enough to do it. :bb :o

Yes, the car can definitely be a handful... A few times, it almost got away from me. Luckily, active handling saved my foot. I always drive in competitive mode. Spinning the tires at 80mph while someone try to race you is kinda funny.

Yes, the run at the track was extremely traction limited. At the upper rpm's, the tires broke lose so fast, all I could do was shift... So, it was basically short shift 1st and 2nd. Feather 3rd...

I will let you know how my wheels situation turns out.

First and foremost.....AWESOME car! OMG!

We DEFINITELY need some pics. Would love a video so we could hear it. I've only seen and heard one TT and it is a totally different sound.

Lastly regarding your name...even before I saw your post asking. Gotta have a new name. Nothing boring like FASTC5 either.

How about: KMA-TTC5 or UBNHADTT or C5BOOST or BOOSTED :D

Guys, I promise I will post my photos once I have wheels/tires/brakes on.

My car look so stock right now, I am embarrassed to post photos. :o :bb

Someone did tape my 11.8@131 run, but I don't think he has it in digital form. :(

SlowC5,

Yes, my own monster has gone to a new home in sunny California. In the future I do plan to pick up another. For now I must remain content with living vicariously through you! :yesnod:

Sad to see your monster go. :( Let me know when you are ready for another monster. Maybe I will be selling mine then.

I think I still owe you a ride, right? I took Alex at Carb connection for a ride. :D

It's pretty crazy  .

Even at 100mph, WOT in 3rd will spin the tires so fast that it could be dangerous. :bb

I hope to have the bigger tires on soon so that I can use a little more of the power. :D

LPE is the hp addict paradise.
Input: How much power do you want.
Output: A car with that much power (w/ some to spare).
Too bad that speed costs money... :(

About a month ago a forum member shot me an e-mail asking questions about my LPE TT.My wife and I met this great couple in Manassas VA.and I took him for a ride in mine.

Had not heard from him lately and today I called Tim at LPE to order some shirts and he said that his car arrived two weeks ago for a TT package. If he was on the fence just one ride in a TT will knock him off.

He is going stealth so I will not post his forum name, but I feel sorry for the Vipers in Manassas VA.

(Slow!!Think larger tires)
