I'd love to take you up on that offer. I can take some in-car video that we can share with everyone here if you'd like. I'll probably be too busy saying "oh my god!" or something like that!

Steve

Steve,

Sad to see your monster go. :( Let me know when you are ready for another monster. Maybe I will be selling mine then.

I think I still owe you a ride, right? I took Alex at Carb connection for a ride. :D

Damn that is awesome! So, when are you going to drop the cash on the 427? I imagine that we will see some 9-sec timeslips out of that thing, if you can get it to hook and not break the half-shafts. (Hehe, maybe 8secs.)

AWESOME!

BTW, I would keep the handle. It has a sarcastic ring to it. I would even get it on my license plate.

David: 725rwhp. Is that Bill's car or yours? How much boost (feel free to e-mail me)?

I did think about getting SlowC5 on my license plate, but I'd rather make my car as innocent as possible. ;) :p:

Davidmax,

Sounds like your car is making some serious power.Let me know if you get close to MD. and I will meet you for dinner.I would like to see your car.A friend of yours put a post up of a drive that you took him on.After reading it I am not sure if I will let you drive.I have not seen 200 yet,and if I do, I want to be the driver.

Take care Bill

Eug,
Yes, my run down the 1/4 was with lower boost. Unless I have better traction, I doubt more power is going to change much. :bb
Although TT is awesome, I like your big cube setup a lot as well. I used to live in Toronto. If I ever go back, I will definitely have to visit ARE...

Bill,
200mph!!!  Are you guys insane??

If I ever want to do a top speed run, it will be up to John to find someone to drive it. :bb

631RWHP? 652TQ? Damn. Where the h** is that direct port nitrous kit.... I know it's around here somewhere... and my headers and a siamesed plenum... ... <G>. Well, at least I know you'll spin too much to keep up

Awesome numbers. Much better than the measly 580 you pulled last time

Awesome Car, but I dont get it...You talk about spinning the tires at 100, cant control it at 80....active handling saving your ****....and you want to go
to a 427 TT? Sounds like its not the power you crave most, but the attention.

Flame away...just an honest opinion.

Looking for attention? Nah, not Mike. You should see his car, if you did, you definitely know what I mean.

Honestly it's probably the dirtiest, most average (looking) C5 around! White, stock gray wheels, no chrome, no graphics, covered in dirt ;) ...... But HEY!..that's the way he likes it!!... he's all about the speed, not the looks or the head turns. It's a complete sleeper.

Sure he talking about losing traction, but so what? He still has run-craps!Besides, his traction prob is in the process of being fixed last time I heard. He's getting bigger treads as we speak. It's just one mod at a time.

Put the pedal to the floor Mike, your car rocks :yesnod:

Later,
Chance.

Thanks Chance.

Hopefully, the bigger tires will be on soon... But we all know how it goes... Wait, wait, wait... When you think it's done, wait a little longer...

If LPE would let me, I probably want the 427TT to look as close to stock as possible as well. :D But then, I don't know who's crazy enough to test the top speed with no aerodynamic enhancement. Definitely not me.

AH is a nice safety net, but it has its limitation. I certainly hope I will stay within the limits of myself and the car. I am certainly not the best driver and sometime, the car is so smooth that I can't really tell if it's spinning or not. :bb

It's alright, I didn't take it as a flame at all. I have different plans for the 427 TT or whatever CID it turns out to be. First, I doubt it will be a daily driver.

If true, then SlowC5, you truely are crazy (in the nicest way)...

Personally, you dont need to go to the 427 yet. If you could get all that power down now, it would feel like a 427 spinning all over the place!

Then again, I do understand the feeling of always wanting more. Just havent
experienced the feeling of "wanting more when I cant use what I got". Yet.
Maybe someday I too will understand.

Bottom line, have fun and dont kill anyone.
