Info on solid axle conversion
A coworker of mine wants to buld a lsx powered street/strip car and why not a c5 instead of a f-body. I know their are some of you that have converted to a 9" and a front mounted turbo 400. I am just interisted in some info or pix of the conversion. The fab work is not a issue and he has a $15k frc availble to him (not mine 
) Any major headaches he should look out for, trans clearincing, fuel tanks, ect.

Are you doing the conversion? The way I understood it that their is "minor" clearincing for the trans. The trans pan area soposedly fits in the cat area. The exhaust is a tight squeese though. Thats why I would like to find some pix of the conversion.

ECS can hook you up with a 400 conversion for around $7500 but this will not include the solid rear.
