Default A little chassis touch up

This is what sanding under your Corvette looks like. Hard to tell if you don't know but quite a bit of metal work on the front frame rails.







Hope to have it all painted by next weekend.... if it ever stops raining.

What happened to the frame that it needed to be repaired??

Most suspension is polished/chromed/anodized. Everything has been being worked on and fitted for months. Everything removed for final chassis paint. Car will look as good under as it will on top. Not that you will ever see it but it all has been done. Maybe not for everybody but this is my car and my labor. Custom made wheel tubs. Motor nearly completely polished. All AC components, brake lines, cooling ect polished and chromed. Not going to run front inner fenderwells. Old school open hot rod look. Extensive welding/filling and smoothing on front frame rails. Many hours invested. Just thought you don't see a C5 this apart every day.

anything special about the motor other than looks? 427 maybe? Supercharger/turbo?
