Snowmobile is ReBORN
Had that when I was in high school. I hope to have it again soon. I'm an old fart now but I haven't forgotten.

Well we had a setback yesterday. Had the car on the lift to put in new fuel pump, got everything off and it was the wrong part. A day's delay I really couldn't afford. Wade said they would have the correct part this morning and have the car ready to dyno later today. I will call and check in. If they are done, I might fly up tonight to witness dyno runs with new program tomorrow and nitrous run on video. I am going to ask them to pull the PRT's and do a set of runs as well with essentially open exhaust and see what if any difference that might make just for fun.
Update tonight or tomorrow morning. The challenge is to get the car picked up Friday afternoon and get to BigToe's in Atlanta for TOEJAM II by Saturday afternoon without falling asleep at the wheel or something. I'll give it my best shot.

Glad to see you fixed the "problem"...that puppy was smoking like a city bus at Beech Bend last time! :D
See you in BG!!!
Cheers,
Steve

Fuel pump is in the car, they changed the oil, and will put the car on the dyno tonight. One car ahead of me on the dyno. Wade will call me later.
I don't know if I mentioned, Wade took the car for a drive yesterday and there is no rear end vibration problem anymore. I cannot tell you how much of a relief that is. Nice to know I don't have to shell out more dough just to get down the road. I may very well still break something when I go to the track but WTF, that's racing. I was worried though with the bad vibration I had on hard acceleration that something might come loose on the street. Must have been valve train stuff or a bad bearing or something in the motah.
Okay. Fingers crossed. As close to 500rw as possible 700+ on the juice. Let's see what it will do. :D

I will have a similiar setup very soon I hope. If you need a driver at the track to take it into the low 10's let me know! :DCant wait to really see it run

Maybe we will get a rematch!;)Give me a call when you get into BG,I may have a date for you if you are still single

Okay I talked to Wade this afternoon. We are done with the test and tune for now....and ran into something very interesting on the juice.
NA we're doing right around 450+rwhp and 465rwtq. Ended up putting in new 36# injectors and got an even smoother running motor. Over 400rwtq at 2300 rpm NA. Think about it! That is going to be a whole LOT of punch on the street! Remember, we have colder plugs and still are tuning this to be a hot nitrous motor so please don't send me an email...I know other people are doing more, even a LOT more NA.
But get this....what we ended up doing on juice is 703/723! :D :D :D Okay boys and girls, I am BACK in the game!
Wade ended up tuning the nitrous for the clutch. If we put the nitrous shot in low (3000rpm) it was buzzing the clutch. It wouldn't hold. So we changed the rpm limits and have the juice coming on at 4200, coming off at 6400, we got to 703rwhp and 723rwtq and no clutch slipping. The clutch may be able to take more after breaking it in some more. That remains to be seen.
703/723...hmmmm....carry the one....that's like 825-860hp and 850-900fptq at the crank! Holy mama! Now I have to lose 100 pounds and learn how to drive like SW! Maybe a LOT better tan would help too! We do have enough to get into the 9's if I learn how to drive the friggin car and don't break anything too important.
Okay it is a good day to be me!
No beast at TOEJAMII this weekend but I will be there to see everybody. I will pick the car up on Monday and probably trailer it up into Canada to show some of my clients up there while I am working, then head to BG on Thursday.
I won't be racing the car this weekend. I want to break things in better before I do and don't have my drag wheels and tires with me. I do intend to get in some practice runs somewhere in September and be at the Tuner shootout in Joliet.
