Tranny Trouble
2002 Z06 with 20k miles ( out of factory waranty). The rear of the car has been elevated on jack stands for 2 months as I had a nail in a tire and need to replace the tire.
I got the tire installed today and took it out for a spin. Shifted fine for the first 10 minutes up through 4th gear on the freeway. Got to the end of the offramp and could not get it out of gear. ISliped the clutch got the car to a safe spot and forced it out of gear. Got back on the freeway and it shifted fine from 1st to 2nd but ground as it went into 3rd. I had no signs of trouble with this tranny prior to it being on jackstands. I am sure its probably coincidental but seems odd to me. I must have the 3rd gear syncro blowing out on me. 20k and a tranny going bad??? SUCKS! Any way the shift fork could of been thrown out of wack?
Baring taking it to the dealer any clues on what I should do?

Not that it matters but the car has a procharger and an excedy clutch, and has not been abused in the least. No 1/4 hard launches.
