Just finished a head swap and this morning the CE light was on. I had a lot of codes including misfire and ignition coil circuit. Prior to starting the car, I spun the motor with the plugs out and coil packs disconnected several times to get the oil pressure up. I have a feeling that is where these codes came from, anyone else run into this?
I am going to check the o-ring but I don't think I will find anything.
The oil pressure was the same before the install.
Good news is I can get the rack out pretty fast now!!
With a 98, did you replace the oil pump? A new stock pump will likely give you 50 psi on cold start, especially if you are "going in" again. Interested in what you find.
