Reduced Engine Power/Active Handling kicks in when accelerating
The check Engine Light and the Active Handling System Light appeared and the chime started ringing. After this happened I found that I couldn't exceed 55 mph. I pulled over and turned the engine off. After a few minutes I started it up again and proceeded to drive home as gently as possible. When I got home I found the following codes in the DIC:
10-PCM: 1515H Control Module Throttle Actuator Position Performance
28-TCS: C1278H TCS Temporarily Inhibited By PCM
60-IPC: U1255 Serial Data Line Malfunction
I ran a search and it seems that it might be a problem with the PCM, electrical system, throttle sensor or PCM. I've heard about electrical gremlins in the C5 but I didn't find any other posts stating that their problems were triggered by acceleration. Any ideas guys???

You should be able to push it fully open with your finger and it should rotate to the almost fully shut position when you release it (*with the engine and key in the OFF position*) Clear the codes and turn on the key. With the ENGINE OFF Have someone depress the accelerator slowly and watch the throttle blade. It should go from the fully shut to the full open position and not stick or studded.
