all of the vendors that i have dealt with through this forum have done an excellent job as far as delivering on time, price discounts etc...but i still would like for vendors to pull items from their catalogs that do nothing except **** off customers.if a vendor makes a sell and it dont work as promised,he will probaly not purchase anything from that vendor again unless the vendor will refund his hard earned money.i work for ge appliances and we build refrigerators at our location and management stresses to keep quality the best as possible and not all of our friges are perfect, and the main thing is to keep our customers happy or we will all be looking for a job.my point is if all of these vendors want to stay in buisness they need to keep their customers happy.
So then I ask this question. Will there be a improvement with a Power Loader on a M6. So far every + I've seen relates to an Auto.
We have sold quite a number of M6 Powerloaders and about 90% of our customers seemed happy with the results. There is no doubt that it does offer some good improvments, but perhaps they are not quite as noticable as they are on the a4. Torque managment is still removed on the M6 Powerloaders, and there is some A/F ratio and timing tweaking to work with whatever mods you have already done.
One of our Powerloader customers is a pretty good friend of mine that I feel has a driven a lot of fast cars and has a pretty accurate SOTP meter. He said he definitely felt a difference in the low end power of his car. He noticed right away as he let the clutch out to take off from his house.
The Powerloader also rids your car of the 1st-4th skip shift, including the light on the dash. It also adjusts your cooling fans to allow your car to run a bit cooler.
Matt, Are you saying that powerloader will be fine instead of a 172 thermostat? kind of like getting 2 for the price of 1?
The Powerloader is not a substitute for a Thermostat by any means but it will give a similar effect by making your car run a bit cooler. Steve Cole put quite a bit of research into the exact temps to turn the fans on depending on what t-stat you have in your car.
