Go to tirerack's website. They can give you the specs you need for whatever tires you want to buy, as well as recommended widths for your wheel sizes. Assuming you're just wanting to cruise the streets, make sure the tires you get have the same diameter as the stockers (can't remember right off the top of my head, but you can check any 245/45/R17 and 275/40/R18 tire for the numbers).

Mike

Thank you for the info. They say the proper height would be 245/35/19 and 285/30/20 but say I wanted to go just a tad higher and wider is it possible without their being a problem with clearance?

245 is the stock width for the fronts, which are 8.5" wide wheels. I'd think 245s would be a bit narrow for 9.5"; you can comfortably go up to 275s without rubbing (that's what I use racing).

Same with the rears. Stock Z06 wheels are 10.5" wide with 295 rubber; again I think 285s would be too narrow. Try to see if you can get some 295-305 tires.

Now, taller I don't understand. It's doable, but you're going to have to get the PCM reprogrammed for the different tire diameter, especially if your coupe is an A4. Personally I'd stay as close to the stock diameter as possible.

To explain the taller part I just do want to have to lower the car to much and if you will excuse the term I just don't want it to look to getto with the sidewalls being to low profile.
