Default Alignment guru's please step in.

I have a 2000 FRC lowered on stock bolts, had it aligned seems fine but the inside edges of the tires are starting to cup, a uneven feeling if you run your hand backwards over the inside edge of the tire. Both front and rears but the fronts are worse, 60k miles the shocks don't leak it handles and rides great. About 8k on the tires, can't find specs they gave me but 7 deg. caster, 3/4 deg of camber and toed in about 1/16 or 1/18 is what I remember. What do you think?

How much air pressure are you running??? too much causes tires to ware more in the center. too little and tire ware on the inside edges

and how much was the car lowered ??

alginemnet

front

camber - .5 to -1.8 with -1.0 to -1.2 works well for most ppl
caster max but equal on both sides
toe 1/16 to 1/8 out

rear
camber -.5 to -1.0
tow 1/16 to 1/8 in

C5's typically wear the inside front tires IF you do more highway driving than curves.

Here are some alignment specs:

Front 97-02 C-5 Corvette Daily Driver Advanced Street Autocross Baseline Track Baseline
Toe 1/32" in 0" to 1/32" in 1/16" in 1/8"out-1/32" in
Camber 0° 1/4° neg 1/2° neg 1/2° neg
Caster 6-7° pos 6-7° pos 4-6° pos 4-6° pos
Rear 97-02 C-5 Corvette Daily Driver Advanced Street Autocross Baseline Track Baseline
Toe 1/16" in 1/16" in 1/16"-1/4" in 1/8"- 1/4"in
Camber 0° 1/2° neg 1/4 - 2° neg 3/4 - 2° neg

These wheel alignments are not factory standards. These are derived from tests, professional drivers and chassis engineers.
You should always consider driver, fuel and cargo weights when your Corvette is aligned. Please note that these specs are symmetrical. For example, when we recommend 1/8" toe in, that indicates 1/16" on each front wheel for a total of 1/8" total toe in.

Daily Driver - These specs are designed to minimize tire wear and dynamic forces on front end parts. Driver effort is minimum, the car will steer very "light" and may wander or be "darty" on road with wear ruts. If you are uncomfortable with this feeling, toe the car in up to a maximum of 1/8" total toe in.

Advanced Street - These specs are designed to give an even quicker steering response with minimum tire wear. If the car is "darty", toe the car in. By toeing in, you may loose some turn-in qualities gained by the initial specs.

Autocross - These specs are a good baseline to start from. The driver must take into consideration that size, compound and condition of the tires. The chassis is affected by the valve package in the shocks, spring rates and sway bars. The Autocross course design and the condition of the surface will also have a bearing. These specs do not work and are not recommended for street use because of adverse tire wear. The car will act "nervous" when ever changing street surface.

Track - These specs are by far just a baseline. Those of you who race know alignment specs will change based upon weather, track and unique setup. These specs can also change on each corner of the car and driver to driver.

I'll make two assumptions from your post; 1. you have neg. camber, and 2. you have runflat tires. Runflat tires will get chewed up very fast on the inside edges with an aggressive neg. camber setting like you have. I have a street driven C5 running "0" degree camber for five years now and the tread is very even. You need to get the camber changed to "0", standard specs for camber is only neg. .25 degree except for the Z06 which does not run runflat tires.
When I got my C5 in 97, I got two sets of front tires replaced under warranty because of the tire wear like you described. Not long after I got my second set of tires, GM figured out it was the alignment on the cars that caused the tread wear problem on runflats and quit replacing them. Non runflat tires will not wear near as bad with a lot of negative camber, but they will still show some inside tire wear.
The best solution is to have alignment set up according to how you drive the car. The more aggressive you drive the car around corners, the more aggressive the alignment needs to be.
