I can adjust the mirror to an appropriate position, but as I drive the veh. the mirror drops in the plastic housing and the mirror must be adjusted over and over again as it drops. :chevy

There are 2 splined pins on the back of the mirror glass that go into holes in the mirror motor assy. One is for in/out and the other for up/down adjustment. Sounds like one of the pins are not fully engauged in the motor or one of the pins are defective.
