1999 Hardtop..programing Ketless remote
I have a 1999 FRC and the keyless remote stopped working. I replaced the battery and still nothing. Before I condem the remote to the trash I would like to attempt to reprogram it..
I know the reset trick and that didn't work.. anyone know how to reprogram them?

I am having similar problem but goes even further. After I re-learn fobs, the car will recognize the fob for a couple of driving sessions then forget it. battery was replaced. battery also checks ok/good on meter.
Jamie, you can reprogram it by turning to page 2-12 of your owners manual or...
1. turn key to ON
2. Clear any warnings by pressing reset
3. Press OPTIONS until you get blank page on DIC, then press and hold RESET for 2 seconds.
4. When the message FOB TRAINING is displayed, push athe RESSET button once. The message HOLD LK + UNLK 1ST FOB in the DIC will appear.
5. Press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the fob simultaneously for 15 seconds.
6. When FOB LEARNED appears you will be prompted to next do next remote.
7.repeat steps 5 and 6 for each remote
8. remove key from ignition.
