I have the full system and it sounds great however if I werer to do it again I would go with LG headers. The Bassani headers come in sections and you have to fit them together. This leaves room for leaks. Also the collectors are a little small.

I just bought a Bassani catback but have not had it installed yet. I bought it because it is supposed to be have little or no resonance and its supposed to be medium loud with a muscular tome.
I don't have the Bassani's, but rather the QTP's. Also a Tri-Y header but one piece and stainless. I also have two friends who have a Bassani cat back and love it, no issues at all. They were at Calisle last year installing systems.
I was thinking of going with the dual polished ovals, but which system are you guys describing on here, the street competition (SC) or the quiet thunder series? I was told they were decently loud with no drone, but the name "QUIET thunder" has me kind of wary.

I've seen pictures of the system, and they look really interesting. I understand the tri-y theory, but was always curious how the header sections mated...Do they clamp, or just "shove together" and hope for no leakage?
