Default slp headers

the slp long tubes don't make very good power like they state. I made about 9 RWHP with these after tune. They are a bear to put in and you have to relocate a bunch of wires in a heat sleeve. Alot of money witht eh install kit, and thier high flow cats. If I would have know about Corvette Forum prior to buying those I would not have bought them.

Well, I have SLP LT headers and I didn't find them to be all that hard to install and I noticed a heck of alot of power and torq after I installed them. I am not keen on the wiring that needs to be rerouted, but I didn't get an opportunity to help with the design, so I deal with it.

I was running this exhaust with the Ti's and to be honest, I found it to be too quiet and I swapped them for the SLP Loudmouths and I love the aggressive and loud exhaust note it provides.

For a small price of $500 I think I did pretty good getting the entire setup for my vette and then I added the SLP LMs.

Wow! For 500 bones I would have went with that setup without too many questions.

In my world of never finding the extreme deals like that I still have to do my homework and balance the price with performance (including fit and finish). I've ran SLP equipment in some of my F-Bodies and always liked the stuff, but that won't make it an immediate sell for me.

I'm not worried about install difficulty, I've worked in much smaller engine bays than this Vette has when I was turning wrenching for a living, and in my current industry... well, let's just say rubber arms would be nice.

It's looking like it's coming down to personal preference.

Thanks to all for the input.
