Body Control module out?

had a scanner hooked up to my 98 c5 and the bcm1 is not communicating with the scanner. Any help? Is this a replaceable item?

it is i just replaced mine, but check them grounds and your star connectors in the passenger foot well

Remove the door in passenger floor. BCM is there and its wiring and also check the fuse panel to the right of BCM to see if BCM fuses are OK.
Starbus connectors are also there, flat several pins, there are 2 starbus connectors

i don't know if i am missing it but there are no fuses that say body control module?

nevermind - i found the body control module fuses but they are all working. this problem is originating from the driver info ctr. not working. i have changed the ipc switch, disconnected the batt. and now checked all the fuses. i am afrid if i want the d.i.c. to work - it is time for the stealership.
