check engine light help
hey guys,
So i just filled up my car with gas at chevron (93 octane), and as soon as i turned the car on the check engine light appeared, any thoughts on this?? is this the fuel sensor problem ppl refer to. aslo the range display kept fluctuating... let me know what you think... I am not mechanicly savy.

remove battery cable
My Ford got the same result with the gas cap loose. Instead of waiting days I would take the battery cable off for a few minutes. This reset the check engine light. If it comes back on again then you may have a problem.

If you got a check engine light,,,then you have DTC codes set!! Check the codes and let us know what they are!!
