Transmission fluids
Has anyone ever used BG Synchroshift transmission fluid in their Vettes? It says it is GM appoved, and I used it in my AWD Mitsu Eclipse turbo before I sold it, and it made a BIG improvement in shifter action and feel. Also, has anyone tried GM's Synchromesh fluid? I have some of this available to me and would like to know if anyone has tried this and their opinion on it. On the back of the bottle it says its a partially synthetic manual trans fluid, and one of the ingredients is "transmission fluid distilates"(petroleum) and solvent-dewaxed heavy paraffinic.

A few guys have tried the Synchromesh GM fluid, a search might turn up results. I think the jury was still out on this for the long term, as there was an unknown from the tranny manufacturer on the long term affects on some internal composite (I think) parts. That's how I remember it from when I looked into it a couple of years ago.
