Steering wheel lock
Hi this is Dave Henderson . I have a question about the steering wheel lock up. I have ordered the clb for my car. I have a 1997. The car will run and move the steering wheel has not locked but it says steering wheel lock, please remove key and try again. The fuel does shut the car down at 2-3 miles per hour. Do I have to take my car to the garage or is there away to fix this when I get the clb ? Thanks !

The steering wheel needs to be unlocked when installing the CLB so since yours is not locked I'd install the CLB as soon as you can and you should be good to go. It's not bad to install - took me a couple of hours but I had some other wiring issues that I was not aware of until I got into it.
