i have a cam only c5 making 407rwhp with the stock ls6 intake mainfold, stock ls6 maf, stock ls6 maf and vararam. would it be worth it to port my throttle body or would i be better off with the velocity stack that i got with my vararam b2?

how much could i gain with a ported tb? v-stack?
What cam are you using? That is damn good rwhp for a cam only. Not much of a HP gain from a ported TB alone.Air intake will help to boost a HP gain.
Go ported and polished TB. You will not get a large amount of HP but it will really smooth out your performance. The velocity stack is right up there with the throttle body bypass
I would sell you mine if you would like. I have used it successfully for over a year, but now I have the tools to port my own tb. $30. I can't vouch for its effectiveness, but in theory, I think it works all right.
pat. 226cam .585lift on a 112lsa A/F is at about a 13.2-13.3
would the velocity stack choke the intake?
That's a tremendous amount of rwhp, with a cam of that size, for a cam only car. Who did the dyno tune and do you have a dyno sheet you can post? Curious what torque you have.

Don't think I'm sold on the stack. Ported and polished is the way to go
