While just crusing around through town @ 35 mph , my radio cut off and then the dash went nuts.. Displayed reduced engine power/ servise vehicle soon.. all idoit lights on .. i pulled over shut the car off. I checked the oil , belts everything looked ok. i started the CAR BACK UP.. EVERYTHING WAS BACK TO NORMAL.. i drove for about 3 miles and the same radio cut off and gauges went nuts.. the whole time car felt fine, didnt sound any different then normal. i shut car off then restarted and again was fine back to normal and drove home and put away. Anybondy know what this could be?? thanks for any help
You need to look up your fault codes, use this link to find out what codes are coming up, right them down and then erase all of them and see what the car does.
This may sound nuts but since I built my car if I don't turn off the traction control at times it drives the car nuts and it does the reduced power, you have a lot of mods and you probably turn yours off when you crank the car like most of us--the strange thing is you were apparently not romping it when it went nuts and that is when mine did it with the TC turned on, it doesn't know how to handle the extra torque---it will be interesting to see what you come up with,

Clean your grounds on the car, I had the same problem and turned out to be a coroded ground wire under the hood. Do a search on this board to find instructions
Another quick thing to look for is the AC condensation exit plug thing getting backed up, causing you BCM to get wet (Passenger side floor). This happened to me a while back... during that time, I experienced the same exact thing as you described above. After clearing out the debris from the plug, i had to open up the BCM and dry it out.
I'm not saying this is definately your problem, but something to easily check (wet passenger side carpet).
wiggle the door wire tunnel there is a connector inside that tends to ground the data circut.
Open door in jamb there is a accordion looking tube wiggle it back and forth.
See if issues go away.
