Default Loudest 4-tip SS Cat-back?

Ok Guys, I like my stingers but they just arent loud enough for me. Who makes the loudest stainless steel cat-back available in the 4-tip? Is it the B&B Bullets or PRT? The LoudMouth? I'd get Borla Straights if they cam in a quad tip but they dont

Any help would be appreciated.

I have heard both the Bullets and the Borla straight pipe systems and they are loud! But the car owners say that there is a lot of interior resonance at cruise speeds.

I have the Corsa Psce Car system on my 02 and it's very quite at cruise but full-throttle acceleration produces a lot of noise!

I'd think SLP loudmouth's would be the noisiest combo, but the clips I've heard they sound pretty obnoxious, IMHO; especially with headers. To each their own. There was talk of an improvement in quality over earlier versions as well.

I would say the SLP loudmouths as well. I had these on when I added LG longtubes and removed the cats. It was crazy loud.. went to stingers to quiet it down.. have since gone to TPIS exaust to quiet further to appease my neighbors.

Shane- the Loudmouths are the loudest there are, just a tad bit louder than the Bullets. I had them on my car with Longtube headers and hi-flow cats and it was crazy LOUDDDDDDD I set car alarms off in parking garages just coasting by in 1st gear.

Now, do you have a Cam in your car? After I put the Cam in my car I had to get rid of the Loudmouths...it just got too loud even for me,,, and the exauhst note itself sounded like an Indy/nascar/Harley just not streetable... it had a very bad Rasp.

I can tell you, don't get the PRT's...I have those now and they do sound very nice, but I am thinking of going to Stingers , I shoulda done that instead of the PRT's.

Good luck

I have a G5X-3 Cam on a 112lsa, LG Street series headers with off-road pipes, and borla stingers. Plus all the other supporting mods like lifters and whatnot. I'm thinking about getting the Loudmouth. But will keep my stingers just in case it's TOO loud. I live in a rural type of area so loud isn't usually a problem.

The Loudmouth and Bullets are very close. Here are the Bullets with just long tubes. They sound better than the Loudmouth IMO. Here, check it out.

I do like the tips on the bullets better. The LM tips are just a little far apart. I might just have to try both and see what i like better.

I think it's pretty accepted that the B&B Bullets are of very high quality, and are very loud. The LMs are even louder, but not as nice. I have LGs and Stingers w/o cats, and I don't want it any louder than it is now. Under accelleration, it'll rip your head off.(Noise, not accel)

I have a 99 heads/cam coupe with LG streets, off road pipes, and B&B PRTs. I will tell you that my car is VERY loud, too loud for my taste. I love the sound at idle and putting around town is not too bad but as soon as you procede to wax that (Ford, Dodge, Honda, ect...) next to you at the light you have to wonder to yourself, is my car that much faster or did they back off because there ears started to bleed. Anyway, I'm going to put some cats on the car to make it a little more bearable but I may still want to change cat backs all together. I'm in Austin and may be willing to trade, let me know if your interested.

I'm not in any big hurry, I still need to get a couple of O2 sims and wanted to do the cats at the same time. After all the money I spent on the other stuff I was going to wait a month or two. My inspection is due in August so I have to take care of everything by then. Not sure what kinda timeline you are looking at so just PM me if and when you may want to work someting out.
