I have a 99 Frc and my drivers seat power is working sort of... it only moves forward and I can hardly fit in there any more... please give me some ideas, also the back will not remain upright... this is how I got the car I dont know how or when it broke.

Hopefully it will be in the control/switch. I dont know if you can check the switch or not without pulling the seat out but seat removal is pretty easy. But if it moves forward it seems to me the motor and track functions are ok and the switch would be the first thing to check. My up and down function stopped and it turned out to be a broken clevis part. Luckily I found a complete seat rack and was able to make one out of two. I fixed the rocking chair problem again while I was in there thanks to multiple posts in the archives. jCheck the archives under search the forum and you will come up with a lot of stuff. It will likely be an easy fix. Good luck.
