Nope, I did this with my 14 y/o brother. Peice of cake, follow the instructions provided. It goes exactly as the instructions suggest.

Only trouble areas will be seized bolts. It's an exhaust. Depends on if you drive in rain and mileage. If you have both, have a torch and/or PB blaster ready. I PB'd all mine on my 20k car and all turned without heat.

Always do this with someone else, you'll need another set of hands, and help aligning the tips.

Well I went from an aftermarket to the bullets, so my take-off was easy. YOURS, however, will need to be cut, unless you can get the rear end like 4.5-5 feet off the ground IIRC. My height may be off, so don't quote me, but that sucker needs to be HIGH if you wanna get the stock one out in one peice. No dropping of the rear end, jsut folding down the rear sway bar. Two nuts and two bolts. Peice of cake, folds right down and folds right back up when you're ready to put it back on. It'd help to have an 18mm and a 15mm DEEP. They're not so common, but they help in this install.

Btw, the B&B Clamps are not liked by many on these boards. They have tendency to loosen over time and can cause your tips to fall off/out of alignment. I went to napa and bought two 3" easy seal clamps. They're MUCH better than the B&B's, but they set me back about 11 bucks APEICE. All up to you.

Oh, and I'm not sure how you are, but I like bein loud, but not so loud it gives me a headache. When I first put these on a week ago, they were so loud each time I drove on them I got a minor headache. Now after about 100 miles, they've toned down a little and are much more agreeable to me.

Also, do me a favor and check all your connections when you're done, after you start the car. I'm interested to see if you have any small exhaust leaks. I seem to have one at every damn connection. I need to get back under there soon and redo them.

Installed in about an hour. I haven't had any problems with the connections all I did was put a little high temp silicone on the flange gaskets and red loctite on the bolts and it was good to go.

Dude do not cut them you can sell your stock exhaust for a few hundred dollars. I did mine myself with just floor jacks and a good lift and was able to get the exhaust off without cutting and then I sold my exhaust for $400.00 so the Bullets only cost me like $100.00 Also, the clamps they give you are crap, so what you will want to do like me is go to your local muffler shop and get them to weld that part together so that you will not need the ugly/crappy clamps. Trust I think I am one of the few on the forum who has their tips alligned perfectly because I went the extra mile to get mine welded. It only cost me like $25.00 to get them welded. Other than that the install is very simple. Good luck, just do NOT cut your exhaust you will be sorry later down the road.

A Ti exhaust is worth a few hundred. I stock C5 exhaust is worth about $7.00 at a scrap yard. Feel free to cut the stockers. If you need some down the road you can find some for the cost of shipping on the forum. (or maybe a feebie pickup)

You can do it in the garage with jackstands but be safe, you need to get the rear REALLY high. Do a search.

You just have to get the car way up in the air. You can use wood underneath the jack and jackstands and above them to add extra height. We had my car waaaaay up in the air. Just use some big jack stands and a good size jack and be careful

Agreed completely. Stock exhausts for sale can be found anywhere. They are hardly worth much at all. Z06 Ti's however, are different.

And yes, the bolts are band clamps.
