Default LG Street Header Install Questions

I am about 1/2 way through the install. Headers are on .. now I am trying to get the bottom finished.

Car is an 01 coupe MN6 and I am installing cats and all 4 O2 sensors.

Just want to make sure I have a few things correct. Are the following statements true?

1) I should use the original FRONT O2 sensors in the front position (in the header itself), with extensions, and NOT crossed (drivers side sensor to drivers side plug).

2) I should use the original rear O2 sensors in the pipes AFTER the cats, no extensions needed, and the wires ARE crossed.

3) The pipes that connect the cats to the X-pipe .. they should be mounted with the O2 sensors closer to the cats.

4) I should have a cold one once the project is finished.

Thanks !

1) you can do that or go to the parts store and get 2 rear sensors so extensions arent needed. (not crossed)

2)original rears after the cats (extensions def not needed) (pretty certain wires arent crossed here either... not sure why you would want to)

3)need to see it to be 100% sure on the closer to cat part but it needs to be headers, cats, 02 bungs shortly after, then x pipe.

Another option, especially if you plan on getting it tuned soon and depending on local emissions, is to use the rear sensors for the front (with the included adapter) and leave the supplied caps in the rear bungs. Just have the tuner turn off the rear sensors and your set. The cats will still function properly and you wont have to buy some extentions or ever worry about the rears popping the ever so lovely insufficeint switching.

Everything that I have seen here says that the rear sensors have to be crossed (like from the factory). I did not get any caps to close the rear bungs with the kit from LG (but I did get 2 sets of clamps .. go figure)

Front o2 sensors are not crossed, rear o2s are crossed.
