Check engine, new codes...help!!
I am getting ready to take a 2 hour road trip, first my battery went dead, charged it, then it fired right up. Now check engine light is on and I am getting two codes: P1518 and P1638, are these anything to worry about? I am getting ready to leave in about an hour. If anyone can help me, please let me know. Thanks.

DTC code P1518 is for throttle actuator control (TAC). Low battery condition power probably set it off.
DTC P1638 has to do with charge system default.
Should be a "H" after codes if they are in history.
These codes were probably set-off by a bad battery or maybe your alternator is not making enough juice.
Clear codes and see if they come back. Would have battery and alternator check if codes recur.
