Default Lumbar support malfunction

My lower lumbar support has stopped working, won't move in or out. It hums when you move the switch both ways as if it should be working but it is not actually moving. The upper one is working fine. Any ideas?

most likely, from my experience anyway. the air tube to the bladder(s) broke off.

options are to replace the bladder or try and repair it like i did...i bought some of that waterbed repair and patch.

if u pull out the seat (really easy to remove btw), and u can get to the bladders really easily. go to vette essentials website, good write up on how to change/remove/reinstall the covers.
see here: http://www.vetteessentials.com/instr...er_change.html

it looks alot more intimidating than it really is....
good luck
peace

EDIT: if your gonna remove the seat, take off the targa top.....world of difference..
