I need some clutch help/advice
I recently took my stock engined '02 Z06 to the dealer for a transmission repair. The service writer suggested I replace my clutch while the car was apart. I checked with a couple of places that confirmed it was a good idea. I then purchased a stock clutch, lightened flywheel, C-6 master and slave, and a remote bleeder from two vendors. I had all the stuff delivered to the dealer.
The dealer called me back and said the C-6 master and slave won't work or fit on a C-5. I called the place I bought the parts from and they said it will fit.
So I need to know, will the C-6 master and slave work on my C-5? Are there any modifications that need to be done to make it work? Or are they just the wrong parts?
The dealer already put my car back together so I need to know for sure whether I had the wrong parts or the technition is an idiot. By the way, they never installed the remote bleeder, so I'm a little pissed about that.
I appreciate any advise on how to proceed with getting this corrected.
