I am located in Charlotte, looking for a Powerloaded A4 to see how much it has improved the performance.
Outside of firmer shift points, rev limiter and fan control, what else is it providing flexibility in doing? Does it change the timing curve, require 93+, and how is it affected by mods, specifically, cam, heads, and TC?
I have read the 2001 is a little less flexible, like others out there, only want to spend my money once.
I am amazed how difficult it is to spin these cars, and hate to just admit it, with only 5000 miles, I WANT to be able to light them up.
I just installed mine today on our 2000 A4 Coupe. Beside the changes you mentioned, it brought my idle speed down to 600 rpms and is VERY smooth. Driveability is increased as it now seems to shift quicker when you want it. Only had time for a short ride, but I would say it now runs the way it should have from BG. :yesnod:
