I just got a mity vac and it seems to work well. however, when the throttle is in the "off" position, air leaks from around the throttle lever screws. Is this normal? It's enough leakage that I have to disconnect the air hose from the air fitting between bleeds to let the compressor fill back up (or else it takes awhile because of the leak).
I've had mine for about 2 years now best damn tool investment yet
As to air bleed off , mine pretty much cycles the comp the whole time its in use, as long as its pulling the fluid though the system when your actually bleeding I wouldn't worry , but if you just got it , take it back and try another one .
I use the miti-vac for a lot of things, not sure what you mean by "throttle" though.
The throttle is the lever that you move to start/stop suction. Mine leaks air when it is in the off position around the screws that hold the throttle lever to the handle.
