Need some ac help
I bought a Quest air conditioning recharger package for my 2001 vette. It comes with a hose with a built in gauge. I also bought two cans of R-134a. My clutch is spinning and it's blowing warm to hot air. I live in Texas and it's about 95° to 100° so I need to get this done

My question is--Is there a special adapter that I need to make the hose fitting work with my low side suction on my vette? The hose that came with the package is supposed to work with my vette, but it doesn't fit. I bought it at autozone and they state they've seen vette owners recharge in the parking lot.
I don't know if it was with this hose.
Anyone try to charge thier system before and had this problem?
