Did a search and didnt find anything in the C5 section. Has anyone used these? I like the idea of taming huge cams at idle and part throttle (or low rpm) but it also looks like they increase vacuum and like to spin pretty high. Sounds almost too good to be true...anyone have any experience with them?

I used them a little over 20 years ago on a 71 LS6 Big Block when I wanted a radical hydraulic cam Vs the Chevy street mechanical cam. The Rhoads lifters (fast leak down) gave me enough extra vacuum to allow the Holley carb to operate properly at idle. I don't know if they make them in roller versions or not.

Get the real ones http://www.schubeckracing.com/ the best lifters u can buy there indistructable. What i put in my car..
Those are interesting, but dont seem to offer the same benefit of "taming" a huge cam at idle and low rpm. Also close to $1,000...I'm sure they're great though for high rpm.
I like that the Rhoads lifters are relatively cheap, increase vacuum, provide lower lift at low rpm but also allow high rpm without float.
Curious if anyone has used them in an LSx application with a huge (stroker) cam?
