Default Clunk/popping in right front, HELP!

In the last few weeks I have been getting a clunk/pop in the right front wheel area and I can't find it.

When it started it only happended when I turned or just before a stop under 5MPH. On the way home from CI VII it starting to do it when I go over bumps and up to around 40MPH. It happens more when I'm slow and turning.

I have read severad threads and nothing has helped.

I have taken the front sway bar off to make sure the end links and sway bar are not the problem. The clunk/pop seems to be less but I think the sway bar is helping transmit the noise through the frame.

I have pulled the tie rod end off the spindel and it seems to be fine. I can move the spindel back and forth with no binding or popping.

I have checked the caliper, shock, and mono spring to make sure they are tight.

Anyone have an idea what to look at next?

I checked the torque on the control arms as well as the ball joints.

I also checked the brackets.

I can't find anything loose or moving. I have had the front end up on jack stands as well as on ramps.

I even put the stock wheel back on to make sure it wasn't the aftermarket wheel.

Sounds like you need to grease the caliper mounting pins, I had a similar problem whenever I went over a bump.

I just got back in from pulling the spindel off.

Pins are fine.

I think I'll keep it off and see if I can get new ball joints and a tie rod end on Tue. It's the Easter egg hunt now. :=(

Control arms and shock are fine.

you could swap the caliper bracket to the other side to eliminate that, the upper shock mount has 2 rubber bushings that may have worn

I think I may have found the problem.

The tie rod end is not as smoth as I think it should be. If I turn it with an allen wrench it makes some noise without a load on it. It may be transmitting the noise through the spindel and into the frame.

I'll order a new one in the AM. None of the part stores have one.

Installed the new tie rod end and no luck. Still making the noise but to a lesser degree.

I don't know if it was because the front of the car was off the ground for two days.

Went to Auto Zone and ordered a new hub assy. It will be in Friday afternoon.
