It'd be Great if you seen him driving his C6 Z06 and got next to him and lit them up from about 60 mph! I'd bet that he'd think the next time he said he's got the fastest car in town! I'd also think that he'd have second thoughts about racing for cash too....I know I would!

I did a pulley change today. Should be around 14-15lbs now with my calculations at 6200rpm. Yea the vetts are hard to launch with the IRS. Too bad you cant fita ford 9' in it easly. I am shooting for high 9's anyways and then wanna try out the turbo setup thats out now. Yea i dont know why people gotta talk smack when they get a new car and say its the fastest. there is always somone who is a little bit we faster out there.. There is alot of people in this town that would take me out in there BBC chevelles that run 8's ect. But a stock vette against a procharged one? the dude even knows what i got and he says i need that too keep up. He must think i got 400 hp or somthin. funny.. Just hope to god i dont throw a belt..haha that would suck

I would turn off the boost completely and beat him N/A. He has no chance.

I saw several Z06's at Beech Bend in Bowling green during cruise -in 7 and while I was there, not one Z06 made it into the 11's (most were high to low 12's). Smoke his AZZ!

I think you have him covered with no problems, but the stock C6 Z06 I saw running at HRP last month was a lot faster than the ones these folks are seeing. He ran several 11.3's at 130...

By changing the pulley you have deviated from a proven combination. You had plenty before the change, but now you are likely to blow the launch or break something. Don't experiment with untried combo's when there is money or pride at stake... Don't get greedy. Go back to your proven combo and spank his a$$...

I think you need to thank the d@#$ at shucks supply for making you some easy money--I used to race on the street against some big blocks in their chevelles. Had a little 62 nove with 327 that would flat out crank it up, smoked most of them cause they were very inexperienced, a few came up on the end but by then it was over. I think if you hammer him from the beginning he will miss a shift looking at your tail lights.
