I used Amsoil in my tranny and rear differential. There is a vendor here, Subdiver, who can sell you the Amsoil or you can find a local distributor. Subdiver had a little better price. I personally would choose Amsoil or Redline over the Mobil1.
1. You can do a PCV system catch can. It is very simple and it works great for stopping all the oil from entering the intake.
2. You can use Seafoam. Just follow the directions on the can. I would not do it unless you had some good mileage and/or a real rough idle. The best way to do it is 1/2 the can, then let 1/2 the can sit in the intake over night.
3) Putting synthetic Trans. fluid in my M6 - Mobil one a popular/ok choice? I just don't feel like hunting down Redline or Amsoil etc...
Sorry for the multitude of questions lately.... I'm just an inquisitive corvette owner.
"Hunting" down AMSOIL isn't all that hard. Order via the info on this page of my dealer website and the stuff will show up on your door a few days later (any sales via AMSOIL using reference #1206638 benefit the forum): AMSOIL Ordering Information
