Headlight motor keeps running
I have a 2001 Z06. I have had it for 3 months. Yesterday we had a rainy/gloomy day here in Texas. I used my headlights. When I pulled up in the garage and shut em off, the drivers side headlight motor ran for about 6 seconds after the lights had gone down/off. Then the motor (rrrrrrrrrrr) sound finally stopped. I have heard others say that theirs pops up and down or stays up, but it did not do this.
Anyone had this trouble with a vette? I had a friend who had this with his TA, but he moved and I have not had any luck tracking him down to find out what fixed it.
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hi,
Yes, I had the exact same trouble, and my dealer mentioned others have as well. It is something with the actuator.
I took mine in and it was replaced under warranty. That's what I'd suggest.
