Default Window adjustment on a vert

a frined of mine's window is misaligned on his drivers door and it causes a leak in bad rain. The window is coming up a little too high it seems, and should maybe tilt in just a shade more. Anyone ever adjusted them on a C5. I have doen it several times on one of my C4's but never on the C5, don't even know how to get the door panel off of it yet, lol.

Yep, I had to do this too. A friend of mine helped me do it. What u do is remove the red reflector at the bottom of the inside door panel. Mine just came out w/ a small flat head screw driver used as a lever. Once that's out u should be able to see a screw (torx) w/ an outer nut. You'll need to loosen the outer nut in order to allow u to turn the torx screw. I can't remember which direction does what, but you'll figure it out. The way I figured it out is just loosen the nut quite a bit and push/pull that torx screw in and out and you can see which direction the window moves. Enjoy!

That's to tilt the window in/out. I had the same problem u described w/ my window leaking, and this worked well. Give it a try and see if u can get the results u need.

its also going to have to come down a little as it overrides the w/s and gets onto the top

I believe this is what you are looking for, the window may not need adjusting, but rather, the convertible top.
