Default Header install do you delete stuff now?

When putting headers on a 2000 FRC is there something I should delete at this time? I have the O2 simms to put on now but how about some hoses and items like that?

When people install headers a lot will delete some emissions components (such as AIR injection). But that is going to depend on what kind of headers you got - those with provisions for AIR, or the race style, which don't have a place for you to hook the tube to....

They are LPE headers for my 2000. They do have hook ups for the tubes but would like to dump them if possible. Im replacing heads, cam intake, O2 sims and also a underdrive pulley. So I know I need a tune. So just getting it all done to make sure I dont have a do over So from what you say I can get rid of the air hoses on the headers and put block off plates on right?

The AIR pump only runs for less than 2 minutes and only on a cold startup. If you want to remove that stuff and deal with the codes knock yourself out but it doesn't cost horsepower or cause problems to leave it on.

Unless you're removing the cats then you shouldn't need O2 simms.
